Title: how do I search for orf?
Post by: shropshire_blue on July 28, 2012, 11:36:44 pm
I'm trying to search for posts about orf, but I get loads of Norfolk and Forfar results.  I have tried typing in:

Code: [Select]
orf -forfar -norfolk

but it just throws a database error.  Any tips?

Google orf in sheep ,

Thanks guys.  I've searched on google and have read the bit in the bible about it (the gospel according to Tim Tyne).  I was asking more about how to search correctly as I'm a bit geeky but this has me flummoxed.

In terms of the orf we have sprayed with baktakill and it isn't spreading any further.  The vet recommended vaccination, but am I right in thinking there's not much point if they already have it??

Vaccination would protect lambs who don't yet have lesions but yes, won't help those already infected.  Maybe the vet meant for you to consider it for another year?

As to googling, I get a pretty good selection if I type in 'orf sheep'
