Title: Rare Breeds Sale - Thainstone Aberdeenshire 1 Sept 2012

Just a heads up that the date has been set for the autumn rare and minority breeds sale at Thainstone, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire  - SAT 1 SEPT 2012
Cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, poultry and waterfowl.
Incorporates show and sale of Jacob and Ryeland Sheep
Also agricultural implements etc.

No not yet, its a pain. They only publish the link to download it a couple of weeks before the sale (in the Sales List). It might be available to be sent out in hard copy before that though, so worth enquiring with them by phone in due course.

Goodness that is a long sale and a lot of stressed livestock to get through!  Bring a picnic!

Need more than a picnic.We are having to leave at 5 am to get there and sales got to go on till at least 3 so going to be a long old day hope to see a few fellow members there though  :)

I looked and looked but didn't see a badge anywhere - I must have been in the wrong spot - sorry to have missed you all. I managed to leave empty handed, considered a couple of shetlands but at £110 & £90 not a cheap day out purchase but nice to see good healthy stock.  :thumbsup:

affa bonnie bigger pigs!
doubtful if they are pedigree, late entry so not in the catalogue, this is the practise run, its to make the drive to grantown worthwhile says husband!
if they behave themselves and taste good, who knows what will be next!
