Hi,
I was chatting to my local butcher and he has expressed interest in buying some of our free range meat chickens and ducks.
As usual, he is being very unhelpful on price he will pay.
Can anyone give me some kind of guidance on the price I can expect to charge per kilo (I appreciate it is a lot less than selling at farmers markets etc - but a regular order is regular income)
I am compiling my costs (most important) but wanted to see if anyone had a ball park figure
Many Thanks
Chris

All you can do is work out what they cost you to produce and compare that to what he'll pay. At a guess I'd say the former will be greater than the latter.
