Just to let you know the Meishans will be at Wigtown show, (no funny comments Robert :) ) along with GOS and we will be having a stand. So any scottish producers who wants to promote their pork, farm, herd etc please send your brochures etc to me and I will be happy to promote you to all an sundry. I dont know if I sound stupid asking this  ??? but what is a Meishan? im guessing its a type of pig :)

Just looked them up on google, they look amazing! very artistic!  :) and very interesting about how prolific they are!

There was a very long post on Meishans in the Pigs section of the Forum way back in January 2012 if you are interested.   Currently on p. 21, I think, and started 18 January.   Worth a read.  They are bred for their lard.   Tamsaddle

yes I started that. Unfortunately may not have the same name as my computer has wiped all the usernames and passwords so i had to re-register again today. i tried to remember my username but couldn't quite remeber exactly, so I put something similar............oh dementia is definately setting in
