Post by: doganjo on April 11, 2009, 10:14:43 pm: I have too, although Linz and I managed to fill up my one and only raised bed on Friday. I didn't even look to see what kind of seeds they were - did it say? I've also joined up for the Dig it email.

I've watered the seeds today, Linz - aren't i a good girl!

Have been up to Calendar with my friend Evelyn today to collect her two ex batts, and got them into their new coop and run. I've suggested she might like to join the forum.

I got carrots, lettuce, beetroot, tomatoes and squash. Already have loads of the others planted, but might try the squash seeds.

Post by: northfifeduckling on May 08, 2009, 03:16:44 pm: 1st time I'm trying to grow Hokaido pumpkin from collected seed. my mum was doing so well, they grew into enourmous plants on her compost heap and the little orange pumpkins hang out of her trees, what a picture! Out of 2 handfuls of seeds one germinated yesterday, felt like X-mas!!! :&>
