uhm, looking at your list i'd say Aldis!!!!

do you really not know how money works??  ;D

guess it all comes dowen to the size of the respective bags being sold there.

i'd always jsut buy one of the bulk bags for £25 - that should last for most of your needs, and takes 2 mins to sieve it if you need fine compost for seeds.

then again - it all comes down to space i guess.

why use old grow bags? you could buy a length of timber - something like a a 1" by 2" by 8' length - cut it down to 2 x 3' lengths and 2 x 1 ft lengths.

fit them together with a few screws and you have a 2inch deep 3' by 1' raised bed.

use your old grow bags as a floor liner, tip the compost on top and stick your plants in.

then you can reuse them every year.

would work out cheaper in the long run no?

i've actually just made one from an old bookcase i had - took out the shelves, added a couple of blocks to the corners to give it some strength

it's a wee bit deeper than i'd need, but the bookcase was for the scrappy, i'll get a year or 2 out of it before it goes on the fire

Don't know if you have one where you are but netto have grow bags for 99p down here. As for growing things in things (raised beds) I have a number of things reused as planters, tyres are number one (Free from local garage) This years recycle is one of the kids old ride in cars (the wheels have fallen off) and an old rabbit hutch. I just hate throwing things away.  :D :D
