Hi friends,
we decided that we'd have some geese again this year, so about 30 maybe. we are wondering if there is anyone breeding them organically in Scotland or if the place in Devon, where we bought before, was the only one. Apparantly one isnt aloud anymore to send day old birds in a parcel by curier, so that'd be a long way to go for to pick them up.
Or is anyone known ar planning to go there as well and could lift some up for us towards Dumfriesshire?
And, another question, where to ask for kill and plucking before christmas?
Thank You all for your help, hannes

Here's Happy Chicks website http://www.happychicks.co.uk/ (http://www.happychicks.co.uk/)
For dispatching & dressing - you could try your local abattoir. But I think most folks raising poultry do this bit themselves........I'm sure others will be able to advise more ;)

Thank You Karen.
Our friends at Lockerbie Abbatoir dont do any animal with wings on, so it'd have to be somewhere else if possible.
