and not just boring DIY
Thought I'd share them with you, I'm quite pleased with them.
I have plans for a range of cards featuring copies of the originals, though not til I've got some more breeds done ;) Kune Kune & Berkshire are next
What do you think ? Would you buy a card with this on ?
Karen
The writting is only there to stop folk pinching them and beating me to it - it won't be on the cards :D
-
I'd certainly buy them
-
So would I - they are lovely! ;D

Hi HappyHippy  .....they are great !
I like the top one best :trophy: ;D --- are they watercolour?
How do you go about making them into cards ???- do you do it yourself at home, or pay a professional printing company?

Thanks everybody for your kind comments :-* Itlooks like they might be quite popular
Tilly,
Despite being a keen crafter I'm going to plump for getting them proffessionally scanned and reproduced onto quality cards - just to make them look a bit posher than I could myself :D
The guy I've been speaking to reckons they'd look good as prints too - but I'm not sure if there would be the same demand for those ??? What do you reckon ? The selling price for an A4 (mounted) print would be around £18, or unmounted for £15 does that sound too much ?
Looking for input ;)

I have found this if it helps to give an indication http://folksy.com/items/2478093-Cockerel-fine-art-print (http://folksy.com/items/2478093-Cockerel-fine-art-print) but look around on that site as the prices vary greatly to if there is one or two images on the print.
I personally love them and have paid a lot more for some 'farmyard' prints I have in my house.

Thanks for that Rachel
I think maybe the guy I've been talking to is a bit expensive for doing the printing :-\
But I'll have a look around ;)

I think you have to be honest and put a price on your time and talent. I am a great supporter of buy british and buy handmade.
-
I love them, just the sort of art I love, a lot of charactor in them too!!!
-
they're great ... and I'll drum up some FB trade for you if I can :)

Very nice.
How do you find the time to be so creative (and productive!) with four young children, the smallholding, pigs etc etc etc...???? Maybe the days are shorter here in the East! (Well that's my excuse...)
