Title: Check-up

Today was my cancer check up and to say I was stressed does not even cover how i felt. 4 years down the line i am even mor nervous than i used to be. Doctor was running late which often is the case so i sat with others watching the clock thinking how much I wanted to go home. People come and go, some even smiling so you know they have had good news. I have to wait a couple of weeks for result which means dreading the phone going or the  postman. I know i have just got to get on with things but roll on the Spring and better days.

As above and thinking of you and everything crossed the news is good. The further down the line you are  i.e. 4 years the less likely it is to be bad news. No comfort I know when you are waiting for the results. The waiting is awful, uncertainty is hard to live with at the best of times.  :bouquet: :wave:

What a wonderful bunch you all are. I am trying to stay postive. Last night OH booked our summer holiday saying that we must plan and not worry but still keeping my fingers crossed.  :)

Just new to TAS but best wishes for you and a prayer said for you. When I face the unimaginable I learnt from my mother to say things in the future may come or not but it is NOT today, so LIVE ,LAUGH and LOVE today. :bouquet:

Well letter arrived yesterday to say all was normal so that is me for another 6 months. I feel blessed and can now start planning shows for the ponies. Thankyou so much for all your good wishes.  :thumbsup:

Good result Sabrina I'm so glad to hear it ,

Now you know you can plan ahead do it  & do it all the time every time.
It's one of the best  reactions to cancer you can have, it helps produce serotonin which is one of the bodies natural defences.  It stops you dwelling on the negatives & producing cortisol which is not good for the body .
