We have 3 Saddleback Boars who are 4 months old, I noticed this afternoon that one of them appears to have a swollen testicle which seems to be fairly prominent in comparison with the othe one he is running around ok and feeding well, can anyone offer any advice please, he does not seem to have any discomfort.
Any help would be appreciated.

It could be a hernia, or it could be that one testicle is very under-developed/over-developed.
If he's for pork, it's not causing any discomfort & distress and it doesn't get any bigger I'd keep an eye on it but not neccessarily do anything with it.
If it's just came on suddenly, gets bigger or he develops any other symptoms (temp, off food etc) I'd consider sending him off sooner. Otherwise you could be left with one boar after the rest have gone due to medicine withdrawal times or a hefty vet bill for a hernia repair.

old rusty had only dropped ball, he was a meat pig so didnt matter and it didnt bother him. unless u mean it has suddenly swollen?

These are for meat pigs ,Not sure when it may have happened Princess, cannot remember seeing before, thanks for your reply.

Had a look at the pig this morning and all appears to be normal again with the apparent swelling gone down but will keep an eye on him
