Title: Hello from France
Post by: Christine B on March 18, 2009, 08:47:46 am
Hi everyone, I'm Chris, married to Dave and we have a little dog Sparky who is a Bichon Frise.

We moved to France from the UK last October and we now have a huge jungle of a garden which we are beginning to restore some order to.  We have about 1 acre which includes an orchard with apple pear and peach trees.  We have just built a hen house in preparation for buying a few chickens when we get back from our holiday to the UK next month.  I am trying to dig over the veggie plot at the moment but have only managed about 160 square feet for the potatoes, onion and garlic.  Hope to get some peas in before we go on hols as well.

I found your site by accident but it looks like just the thing I need

All your help will certainly come in useful over the coming months/years!!

Chris and Dave

Well that was a lovely welcome so soon after my post!

Thanks James - I'm glad Scotland is sunny today.

Kate - what a coincidence that you are in France as well!  We are quite a way from you in Limousin Dept 87 - Haute Vienne.  Between Poitiers and Limoges.

I am so looking forward to checking out all that the site has to offer,

Chris and Dave

Big hello from Ireland, used to live in France myself a loooong time ago. Don't bother digging the garden, get some pigs and they'll do it for you1
