Title: left over potatoes
Post by: Fluffywelshsheep on March 17, 2009, 02:16:50 pm
Okay here is something to do with left over potatoes

put one egg in to a bowl wish up add a litle bit of milk, like scramble egg. You can also add extra stuff here herbs /seasoning then add the left over tatties, either put in to a hot frying pan (not to much fat/oil) or deep fat fryer and left untill cooked
Simples  :-*

If there are any potatoes left after my family and the chickens have had their fill, then I mash them and put them into the dough when making my bread, which I do daily. The resulting loaf is very tasty and it makes the bread softer then usual.

Another good way to use up left over tatties........................
Fry up some bacon and chop into litle bits, mix into cold mashed tatties with 1 egg and some flour (enough to stop the mix being sloppy) shape into 'patties' and fry.
Great with beans for a quick supper  ;D

No it hasn't!   Oh, wait a minute.........  it HAS!  There's the sun...  oops, it's gone again - oh no - torrential rain now.  Mt chickens think they are ducks.  the ducks love it.  I give them my left over tatties - they love them.
