Title: Meet my Soays / Moorits
Post by: goosepimple on November 03, 2011, 06:07:41 pm
Well you will when I can get near them to take a pic.  Got our beautiful 2 soay ewe lambs, one dark one light and 2 castlemilk moorit ewe lambs, all gorgeous.  The moorits are a wee bit chunkier looking with a smaller face than the soays.  They're keeping their distance just now but are extremely interested in the pygmy goats eating from our hand.  They're all registered with RBST and we'll breed from them next year (they'll be sent to boarding school for that).  Our last soays became quite friendly within a few months, a handfull of food a day seemed to help that.  Will post pics soon as I can - I love seeing pics - come on everyone, get yer pics on! ;D ;D
