Title: Sheds and coops
Post by: ellied on October 12, 2011, 07:49:36 pm
Hi just thought I'd ask if anyone sees a winter sale on garden sheds or coops to let me know please - I had a look on Tesco.com, B&Q and Wickes but the basic 6x4 seems to be £149 at the mo :o

I got my coop for £130 odd but then built the pen around it so it's too wide for the gate ::) and thus won't move to the new pen I'm planning to swap the girls to and/or use for future new additions in quarantine ;) and for all it does fine, it's quite low to the ground for leaning to clean out so a walk in shed would make my back happier!

No rush at all, I've not built the new run and will have to wait for help with that anyway as I can't stretch wire and knock staples or hold and knock posts in at the samae time ::)  Just thought someone might spot a website or store that I wouldn't and share the info :)

thanks in advance

Have you tried asking on your local freegle? I got our Turkey (corner shed ) off of there, see one of my other post's,needed some items for it,but did work out cheap!

I've been getting second-hand sheds from gumtree fairly cheaply (around the £50 mark for a 6x4 wooden shed in reasonable nick). Might be worth seeing if they have anything local to you.
