Now that would get our local planners  in a spin.  No excuse for being late for work if we had one of those around the place!!!

How do they do it ie make the shapes with pouring water?  Or is that a dumb question?

I'm guessing it'll be a bit like old dot matrix printers, 'printing' a line at at time.

Using lots of valves that open and close according to a set pattern with a reservoir above and a pump to circulate the water. The water will always fall at a predictable speed thanks to gravity so it's all about the timing.

A bit like a jaquard machine then, or an automatic organ or polyphon.  Very clever.

I don't know ...... It's very lovely but when I look at a clock - it's because I want to know the TIME.

Sorry to be a killjoy  :P

But if you were sitting waiting for a train for 20 minutes, wouldn't you choose the Osaka clock over this:

By the way, we have improved layouts for iPad, iPhone and other mobile devices coming soon.  :)

I'll contact you for iPad testing since we don't have one.  :'(

Nothing at the moment, and now I look there's actually no need for an iPad style since it's got a resolution large enough in landscape to accommodate the site.   ::)

Ignore me, an early senior moment.  :D

Thanks, noted, will try to sort this when I come to do the mobile styling (it'll be at least a week).
