Today we've launched the second version of the TAS website and forums. We hope you enjoy the site. :)
There are likely to be a few rough edges, if you do find any problems with the site please report them to us (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/report-issue/) and we'll fix them as soon as we can. You'll find a link to report a problem at the bottom of every page.
Here's a quick run down of what's new and changed on the site:
- New design - the site has a completely new design, making it much easier to see what's happening across the site and forums
- Upgraded forums - the forums have been upgraded, making them faster and (hopefully) easier to use. Regular visitors will have to go through a period of adjustment for which we apologise, but we hope you'll come to love the new forum.
- New boards - we've added boards for plant identification (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?board=36.0), buildings (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?board=38.0), and wildlife (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?board=39.0), all at the request of members. We've also added new members' only board (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?board=37.0) - to access this you need to have made 10 posts on the forum.
- New articles - we've extended and improved the range of articles, starting with livestock (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/livestock/). We'll be adding more articles across the site over the coming weeks.
- Events diary - a fledgling calendar of smallholding and agricultural events (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/events/). This will grow and grow, and you can help by submitting your own events.
- Smallholding links directory - a fledgling directory of smallholding links (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/links/). Again this will be growing daily as we add more links.
- Lots more including an updated diary, recipe database and library of books - all now with comments enabled.
We've got lots of new features in the pipeline, many suggested by members - if there's an improvement or new feature you'd like to see please let us know (http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/contact/).
