'ello folks
I'm having trouble sourcing 4 black rocks to add to my current flock. Colin Kerr has had nothing from Peter Siddons for ages, my other contact in Burnt Island is in the same boat so I'm kinda lucked out at the mo.
Anyone know of anyone with 4 B'Rocks for sale, preferrably around 12 weeks +. Don't need to be POL's as have layers for now but 12 weeks+ means I can get them onto the layers pellets along with the others.

I spoke to Colin Kerr this morning and was told none available. I have contacted Mr Lovatt www.ralovett.co.uk he has some but he is located in Renfrewshire not very convenient for you in Fife tho. I am frequently dropping hubby at the airport so not such a problem for me (I am in Stirlingshire). He did say he delivered but I did not ask about schedule or cost. Hopefully you will be able to find some a little closer.

The black rock website www.theblackrock.co.uk has a list of all agents. I think many deliver. I suppose its the time of year - high demand / low supply.

I know the dealer website but wondered if there were any others more local as my chap in Fife isn't on the list but Peter S gave me his details.
oh well, looks like it'll be some RIR's that might have to be introduced to some feather dye...NOT!!
However I have heard of somewhere where I can get RIR/Barred Plymouth Rock x's but they obviously can't be called Black Rocks so might go for them as at least they'll be black & me current chooks might accept them quicker :farmer:
