Title: Market price for organic pork
Post by: Hannes on July 12, 2011, 06:24:52 pm
Hi all,
I've been trying to find a current price for pigs at the market these days, but no success yet. we sell organic pigs, usually directly to our farm shop, but since some time also to other butchers. I just wonder what the price is nowadays paid for a organic pig weighing 50-60 kg dead.
Does anyone know?

Yes, we are member of the soil association, but they also need days to find out..... :-[

@ Cobra, Thank You for your efforts, let's see, what comes out there. I don't want to believe, that 2,40 to 2,50 shall be all for organic, free range, rare breed and absolutely untreated animals...
