I am growing aubergines this year as well as many other things for the first time. My mum was appaled earlier in the year when looking at my tomatoes because I hadn't nipped out the unnecessary leaves etc I now have my tomatoes under control and have lots of tommy's growing. My aubergine plants have tonnes of leaves though and my mum has never grown them so don't know whether or not I should nip some of these off. Can anyone help???
