well,
The girls went on monday, we used the same abbatoir as last time so wasn't too stressful (even if patch decided she didn't want to go into the trailer with the other 5 and it took us an hour to persuade her!!! :D)
but we are using a different place to butcher as they do a variety of sausage flavours etc
well..... the boss phoned me today to check what i had written and asking if i wanted some joints on the bone or off..... in the conversation he commented that my girls were excellent pigs and the best he'd seen for some time....... he even said it several times...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
i must admit i nearly cried feeling sooo chuffed.
just had to spill as i'm sooo proud of my girls

Well done. It's always the point where you feel good as it's the result of your labour. When you find that the job you have done is worthy of praise from people who know what's, what then that's the dogs dangly bits.

thats nice to be told ... what a nice boss!

Thats good. Nice to be praised when you have achieved such a good carcass. Make sure you tell anyone who is buying meat from you.

Well done you, it's great to get such positive feedback. The care & conditions in which you kept them has obviously shown in the end product.
