Title: Dexter Cows For Sale
Post by: cwgove on June 16, 2011, 10:31:37 am
Two Dexter cows for sale – location:   South Worcestershire

D o B   07/07/1998  - registered pedigree, black polled   This cow has lost a quarter but still rears her calves successfully.

D o B  03/05/2006  - not registered, black, horned.

Both cows are in a small herd kept permanently outdoors on pasture and they weathered the last severe winter with nothing more than trees and bushes for shelter.  They both calved without assistance and were good mothers.  They are seen every day and are trained to the bucket.

We are selling reluctantly because we are now over our quota of cattle grazing rights.  Both cows have breeding years ahead of them and we would prefer them to be able to fulfil this role rather than entering the food chain.  The herd tested negatively for TB on 11th June 2011 when they were also treated against worms and fluke.

All reasonable offers considered.  Local transport available at an additional cost of 25p per mile to assist with fuel costs and time involved.

Happy to answer any queries.
