Just wondering who out there farms organically and if so what feeds you use.

We don't operate organically but we do feed organic food to the chickens - from The Organic Company.

We don't operate organically. Don't believe hugely in it, I have to say.

I'm inclined to think it's just a big hype too.  I don't like GM though so I do make sure all my animals eat GM free (and me too) ;D

It's a way to get mutated commercial breeds a market with people who think because it's organic it'll taste good.
Stick to common sense and feeding your stock natural ingredients, it's far cheaper too.

Cheers

I seriously considered changing to organic feed mainly to avoid GM ingredients. But as there is no way I can sell my eggs as organic (Soil Association regulations), I will stick to GM free for now (unfortunately it's also a question of price for us as we would have to travel quite far to buy it or pay twice as much). We use Dodson and Horrell, who assured me that all their feeds are GM free. :&>
