Not sure if this is the same book mentioned in VF , I will watch the program again to see !!! but it is about the same subject 'British Grasses' . I found the book gives  plenty of good detail on all aspects about the grasses , much more than most modern books . It is an excellent book for anyone wanting to establish fields/meadows as they used to be , and still know exactly what each type of grass would supply towards their needs.
I love old books like this , I could read them all night ( well I frequently do .... ::))

cheers
