I recently adopted 3 ex battery hens, Tarragon,Thyme & sage, they have large round worm, I have used verm-x twice for 3 days running but still the monsters are in their poo. I have also been putting a little cider vinegar in ther water. Can anybody help me PLEASE I very worried about my sweet girls. want to avoid a costly visit to the vets. xx

I find flubenvet more reliable at sorting out worms in chickens. I'm also pretty sure that you don't need to see a vet to obtain it, try an internet search for suppliers or ask at your local agricultural merchant.

I agree. Vermex not the best as far as we were concerned.
Agri merchant or vet will have the other. Think you need to give it for 5 days.

We use Flubenvet too, get from local agri store.  You will have such fun with the girls.  We took home 4 ex-bats and they are the friendliest (and cheekiest) of the lot.  Love their names.

Welcome by the way from North Yorkshire.
