Title: Free to a good home
Post by: Hardfeather on January 28, 2009, 08:01:13 pm
I have a nice Silver Laced Wyandotte bantam cockerel free to a good home, if anyone needs or wants him.

I bought some Jersey Giants recently, and the Wyandotte came with them........I have no hens for him so he is needing a new home.

I'm based in Angus.

I did try to send a personal message but don't know if it worked.  We have two gold laced wyandotte bantam hens looking for a mate but we have had no luck getting a suitable cockerel yet.  we would love to have him but we are in West Wales - is there any system of sending him (eg courier) without distress to him that we could pay for? We would be happy to do this if it was possible without being too massively expensive.  Thanks

Have PM'd you wolfie.........I did get yours.

Maybe someone could give us advice on transporting live birds, and the likely cost.

I know this is France, but it is done here regularly and apparently quite reasonably.
