I am not much of gardener and have just spent alot of time weeding the borders in the garden of the house we bought 18 months ago. They really did need sorting out!!!
Now the borders are pretty clear, I gather that I need to mulch them.
I have a notion to mix wood chip (from a pile we have had for about a year) with grass clippings from last summer which have composted anaerobically and are therefore a bit slimey.
My question is:
Is this a good mix for a mulch?
I have got one of those tippy toppy revolving composting bins that I was going to mix it all in.
Any advances/better ideas or comments on my plan would be greatly appreciated.
