Title: Primroses

Does anybody know the best time of year to plant primrose plug plants?

I have a notion to flood my bank with primroses and snowdrops. We have lots of moths so pollination wont be a problem!!!

I know it's probably too late for this year..... or can I plant them anytime?

I am looking to plant the wild variety - P. vulgaris

Any ideas?

we normally plant in the autumn but they should be ok planted in the spring as well.

Yes as they are plugs they should be ok.  Your bank will be beautiful  :)

Oooh I hope so. We are going to do about twenty this year and if it goes OK then we will do more next year. We are going to make an English bluebell wood aswell.

Fingers crossed.

That'll probably add more value to the house than re-building it  ;D
