NFU here as well. Don't work for them, but one of the few where I actually talked to a human face-to-face about what I needed, rather than a someone (a human or maybe a robot ?) with a difficult-to-understand non-local accent on a crackly phoneline...

FUW here

The advantages of having a friendly broker (same friendly voice) at the end of the phone line far outweighs the savings of trying to do all my insurance independently. Worth every penny.

NFU here as well, but did not like my renewal premium due beginning March, it had increased £150. When I rang them they said that they were having lots of phone calls as last year was a double bonus year. Does not help this year when money is even shorter.

NFU here too.  I like the friendly, personal service.

NFU for the car's, bikes as well as the farm.
We always ring round first and then tell NFU what price we are looking at and they normally play the game.

BUT the big plus is that if you want to change something or sort something out, they know who you are and can do straight away without having to ask if the computer says yes or no.

Never been able to fault them.

I'm going to go to NFUS when mine's due for renewal in July. Just like dealing with a real person.

NFU too, they were really good when our shed roof collapsed this winter. Nice to deal with real people not call centres!  Have heard Farmers mercantile are quite good too.

I just switched to NFU this year after my buildings cover came up for renewal and I couldn't get a domestic policy any more because of being self employed ::)  I am at home more of the day, more days a year, which is surely less risk of burglary or major incident being unspotted for hours eg burst pipes flooding, but apparently having someone at the front door is far more risky because they might sue me (same people as before and I have professional indemnity insurance separately for any clients that come in!)..

When the car comes up for renewal I'll see if I can add that to the NFU policy and anything else I can too..
