Title: Fencing
Post by: Leefle on June 20, 2021, 06:11:29 pm
Hi All

I am in the process of segregating my field into an area I will have a hive and if all goes well put another in the year after.

I currently have sheep in the field and was just wondering if you had any ideas regarding what sort of fence I will need to put up?

And what sort of hedging will be good to go around?

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

A sheep netting fence then you can plant your hedge on the inside and they can't get to the young plants.

That's what we did, and we used a smallish hurdle as a gate. Worked well.
