Ha?lo! I'm an old greybeard living in Co Kerry. I've been a self-sufficient smallholder for most of my life. I was a shepherd for thirty years but, now retired, I spend my days growing vegetables, beekeeping, poutry-keeping, growing apples and making (and drinking) cider. I enjoy talking to like-minded individuals and passing on any little knowledge I've accumulated over the years.

Welcome Sean  . I am sure your experience will be very useful for many of us.
There is someone here moving there smallholding from Lincs. to Ireland. You might be able to give them some hints about the best places to go :-)
