Title: Copper Maran Cockerel
Post by: Hooting Ash on November 21, 2020, 09:37:28 am
Hello, having successfully hatched some Copper Maran eggs (lovely dark brown), I find I have three cockerels and one hen!
The breeding hens and cockerel are all pure bred CM’s from Belgium stock.
Would anybody like to give a home to a young cockerel, just started crowing!
I am based near Glastonbury.

We had a copper maran cockerel who lived for about 7 years.  Lovely handsome chap - very gentle and diligent with his hens and of course his offspring carried the dark egg gene. Shame we're all in lockdown and I'm in Scotland  :chook:  I'm sure you will get takers for such lovely cockerels.

Oh, damn, I was in that part of the country a few weeks ago and would have taken it, sadly cannot justify to travel that far again for a cockerel.... but I am looking for one (Scottish Borders)
