One bloke rambling on on U tube and quoting half truths taken out of context, does not equate to fact. Nor do half baked proposals and ideas amount to laws.

Of course you do. As soon as the lock down etc finishes they will be able to evict you when you don't pay rent. Its just been delayed for couple more months to make it easier for people who are struggling st the moment.
When you don't pay rent you are taking someone else's livelihood or retirement away.

I find it alarming that people who haven't paid any rent for months and already had pending evictions have been given an extra 5 months of free accomodation. Presumably most of these properties have morgages which the owners are still having to pay which is very unfair..

The rent holidays are a bit of mess to be fair.
Its only putting people into huge debt - their income should have been supplemented to a point where they are 'safe' to pretty much carry on as normal - except not working and at home eating ice cream. - lol

The old gov will never cancel debt owed to private landlords - lol - cos its not their debt to cancel

And their are no squatter rights - and if there was - as a landlord all you have to do is wait till the house is empty and take back control of the empty property
