My wife and I both retired early in our late fifties. I was always a keen gardener and country bumpkin. We already lived in East Wales and decided to move West into a small village 10 miles from the coast. We bought a two acre plot with a part converted barn. I worked the on barn for two years before my wife joined me. New roof electrics ect.The plot was an over grazed field with a little river at the bottom, a blank canvas.
We have no stock just native trees and shrubs we have planted over the years. It consists of a wild flower meadow and three ponds that we created. The rest is just native trees with a few cultivars. Now after 20 years it's paradise.

Do you have plans for any stock? A few chickens perhaps?
