Hi
In light of Boris Johnson’s address that we are in lockdown, I have a question that I can’t see anywhere
I have sheep on a number of small parcels of land that are due to lamb in a couple of weeks
I don’t own the land and it’s not my primary job
Am I still able to tend to the sheep?
I will be either way but it doesn’t seem clear

I would say that comes under the heading of 'animal welfare' so you have to tend to them.
-
what about feed stores? presumably they will still be open?

Pet food shops are allowed to stay open so that will cover feed stores but advise is to ring ahead and check.

Yes, you should be checking your livestock! I have found some feed stores to be running low on some things, its not due to shortages, but people are hoarding feed. Its a hard one as you can't afford to run out but hoarding means that some people will be without :/

I nipped to Carrs Billington yesterday, they were open and had plenty of stock but no-one was allowed in store, order and pay at the window and your order will get loaded into your car for you.
