Title: Mixing flowers and poultry
Post by: Womble on March 22, 2020, 07:41:28 pm
Now we've finished our building work, I have a number of big old stone troughs I'd like to put around our front yard and plant flowers in.

There's just one problem - we have free range hens and peafowl who will scratch plants out and eat the heads off flowers, respectively.

Do any of you know how I might manage successfully to grow some flowers in our yard? You know, like normal people do?  ::)

Thanks!

 Off with their heads! And not the flowers!  :coat:

How about making a chicken wire dome which sits in the trough and covers the flowers?
