I have a Ewe sheep that I thought was beginning with twin lamb decease as it seemed to be drunk and unsteady but I found later that it could not see although its eyes are clear and look normal. it is used to taking feed from my hand but I had to touch it on its nose so it new I was there, I then scooped some water in my hand which it drank so I lead it to the trough to have its fill. Normally it was always first to the Proven trough to get its nuts but the last two days it didn't come to the trough it's not due to lamb till the 23rd March So my question is have you come across this before and besides giving it individual care have you any suggestions.

Speak to your vet
-
have you checked the her Eye lids some times they turn inwards, or so it can on Lambs
-
CCN - she needs the vet and vit B injections asap.
-
Make sure she is getting feed and water or she will develop twin lamb on top of her present problem

Please google ENTROPIA in lambs ,they are born with it and it quickly develops

I would of suspected Listeriosis, whatever it is/was I hope the vet saw the ewe. Let us know what it was and how it went! Hope she recovered!

TLD or listerosis most likely, outside chance of CCN. Give it some propylene glycol in both cases, and some Pen & Strep if listeria, CCN needs B1.
What's her head position - back (CCN), tilted to side (earinfection) or normal? Are ears not level and any salivation (listeria)?
Any convulsions (CCN) or facial tremors (TLD)?
