Title: Can I buy raw goats milk
Post by: CrunchieMac on October 20, 2019, 11:38:02 am
Hi all,
I was wondering if I'd be able to buy some raw goats milk from someone. I have an old dog who is receiving treatment for cancer and is losing weight. I've been advised to get hold of some raw goats milk for him but I understand it's not acceptable to sell for human consumption. Is there anyone within travelling distance of Falkirk that might be able to sell me some? It would be greatly appreciated.

There is a UK based facebook group specifically for puppy milk from goats. Other than that if you send a pm to Ballingal  on here (Beth Fairley) I am sure she can help. There are goatkeepers in the Central Belt. Also try the Scottish Goatkeepers Federation webpage, there are contact emails on there.
