Title: Nail Gun Question...
Post by: symber on September 28, 2019, 10:37:22 am
Hello,

  I'm building a shed - 4.8m by 2.4m, weatherboard clad with 140x16 boards.

There's a hell of a lot of nailing to do to fix all the weatherboarding, so I'm considering buying a nailgun that'll run off my compressor, as they seem lighter and cheaper.

Ideally, I want one which will drive 16-gauge nails with a head on them to hold the weatherboarding to the frames, but I can only find guns that fire out brad nails, which don't have a head.

Does a nailgun that fires nails with heads on them actually exist or am I barking up the wrong garden path, so to speak?

  Thanks for your help

  :)

Yes i have a Bostitch  nailer, used it to build goat stables they are great
Get one that uses coiled nails they mainly have heads  mine goes up to 83 mm
Think majority go up to 50mm
