Title: Pedigree

A bit of a long story so won’t bore you but I have 2 pedigree large black boars unfortunately I don’t have the pedigree papers ???? I’m now looking to sell the pigs and wondered if/how you can get duplicate pedigree papers?

Are their ears notched and did you buy them as registered or are they birth notified? Were they transferred to you if they were registered? Only the breeder can register them. If they are registered you will be able to find them in the herd book on the BPA website. You will need to talk to the BPA about getting papers and proving they are the pigs you say they are, hence the notching.
