Title: Downed lamb
Post by: Bramham Wiltshire Horns on August 25, 2019, 10:59:04 am
Hi
We had a lamb go down yesterday, she was a bottled lamb that never really took any creep, she was doing well up to now but seems to have lost a lot of condition whilst still grazing,
She’s all up to date with worming/fluke hepvac
Just wondered what people’s thoughts could be she’s still down now we’ve been syringing water electrolytes glucose and molasses for energy

I didn’t think she would make it through the night but she’s still here with a bit more life in her but not much
It’s probably a vet job but wondered if there’s anything I can do in the mean time

Thanks

Could be anything, get the vet to look today though no point waiting till after the bank holiday or she will probably be dead.

Yes that’s fair enough
