Can anyone tell me what sort of butterfly this is?
Dennis the menace butterfly? :D
-
Looks like a cinnebar moth - one of the day-flying moths. It's larvae like ragwort.
-
I'm with vegpatch.
-
I dont have any ragwort but I do have these moths so they obviously feed on other plants too.
-
They like my Poly tunnel, not sure what they are looking for as we haven't come across caterpillars
-
Interesting. Thanks all.
I dont have any ragwort that I know of either.
-
They like groundsel too, and everyone must have that!
-
Plenty of groundsel around here.
