I had never seen one before, I had to get it identified online.
I thought i would share it here so others could see one. I hope this is a good sign and the garden is friendly for predator bugs

That's a cracker Alex :thumbsup: . Sounds like your garden is attracting the right predators. We had had several cold and miserable winters and our ladybirds (barnie bees for me) seemed to have disappeared, so last year I bought in some 2-spots, and they have reappeared this year, so we must have had some larvae too. Do you know if 2-spot larvae are different to 7-spots? I have certainly seen the type you posted, great to watch, voracious wee things :hungry:

Yeah last year we had loads of snow and the garden did not do too well so it was a nice surprise to see.
