I'm after a favour! The guy who normally sheers my sheep has just told me that he's injured himself and is out of action for the next few weeks. Does anyone know a sheerer in the area who'd be willing to sheer my very small flock of 7 sheep? Ideally fairly soon, I was planning on having them sheered this week. I'm in a village just outside Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. Any info much appreciated.

It is a bit of an old thread, but may still be a live contact?

Thanks Maysie. I tried that, but there’s no response from the telephone number or email. His website hasn’t been updated in years, so it may be that venture is no longer active.
Anyway a friend of a friend through church is going to sheer them as soon as the rain stops, so hopefully we’re sorted. Mind you, they are probably glad to still have their fleeces right now. 11 degrees in the middle of the day in mid June and still raining!

If your friend can't do it, I can highly recommend Wil Snowden - easiest to track him down on Facebook :)
