Title: Duck egg colours
Post by: Womble on March 28, 2019, 10:49:45 pm
We have four female ducks, plus Bill, who is definitely male.

Yesterday I collected three blue eggs plus one white one.

This morning, I collected three white eggs plus one blue one.

Can anybody explain what the hell is going on!?  ???

Well if Bill is  :innocent: , it's pretty difficult to explain last year's ducklings!

So, cuckoo eggs for breakfast again then?  Yum!  :yum:

… Oh and don't forget Bill may have been a male last year …………. but ducks cam change sex (and no I didn't know that until a couple of weeks ago when my friends duck went from female to male!!)

I was just going to say that. I've had both a duck and a chicken that have changed sex
