Hello, can anyone advise me please, is it ok to worm our Herdwick Ewes now, they are pregnant and due to lamb in April, we are very new to this and our little flock are pets and as well as lawn mowers. Thank you.

Should say on the bottle if safe to use during pregnancy. Is there a reason you’re worming them now? They would be better wormed after lambing if it is a regular treatment

We worm and fluke ours after they lamb. It's the only time we worm our adult sheep - it's when the worm burden is likley to be highest and reduces the number of eggs shed on to pasture, so helps to protect lambs, which have no resistance.
