I would personnally say don't mix them.  A broody female goose can be quite unpredictable and the male can be very protective of his mate and the eggs.

They are quite powerful birds and I wouldn't like to say how they would treat the smaller chooks in the house when they were nesting.

At our other property we mixed the waterbirds on the pond - we had larger cabins for the geese and smaller shelters for the ducks.  This worked very well.

Thanks Kate  I will use another barn, hopefully they will play outside nicely. We have no fencing on our 5 acre plot, the chooks wander around the land all day and take themselves to bed, are geese likely to do the same?
