Growing in December in London
-
Looks like lords-and-ladies Izzy- seems there are an awful lot of names for the same plant. Ours are coming up now- the red berries on a stalk arrive much later usually. The leaves here are variegated rather than plain, but photos I've seen show plain leaves as yours. Perhaps its early arrival is due to the unseasonably warm weather?

Thank you Chris for your help. From other pix from t’interweb that seems right. Embarrassingly I recognise the fruits from a lane near my home in Scotland.

It looks like Arum Lilly to me, I have loads growing in a sheltered spot at the moment too.
Google Arum Lilly Leaves

Could be Lords & Ladies, or Arum Lily... not sure if either/both are poisonous, but I think so...
