At present working as a butcher in cornwall .... and trying to learn everything I can in time for d-day.

Hello Gary and welcome to TAS from me in SCOTLAND.  You've chosen a wonderful country to adopt.  Looking forward to seeing how your plans work out.

Always happy to do a bit of butchery ........... :excited:

Cool - anyone else?

Potentially Im thinking of doing a freelance travelling butchery 'thing' --- aim to specialise in Lamb, Poultry and Pork as this seems more applicable to small holders .......... could either teach it or come and do the butchery for people.

That will leave me free to run the smallholding in between ........

I agree, that's a great idea.

You'd have to do the sums carefully to make sure you can make it pay, but yes, there's definitely a demand for that.

Also, f you could combine it with pregnancy scanning or shearing, you could really make a business out of it!
