LARGE WALLED GARDEN AVAILABLE – LANGHAM HALL, BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK, IP31 3EF
This beautiful and productive three and a half acre walled garden is available for use as a base for a garden/nursery/kitchen garden business. The garden is currently used as a plant nursery and productive kitchen garden and is well maintained, but the current occupiers no longer need it. The owners are keen to ensure the garden remains productive and well kept, and so the garden would be available to the right applicant for a token rent in exchange for good maintenance of the gardens. At present, one half of the walled garden is an ornamental garden, with the other as a kitchen garden.
The garden dates from the 1750s and is surrounded by high brick walls in good condition, with gravel paths, greenhouses, cold frames and a large orchard. There is a generous car park and potting shed. It may be possible for the garden to split between the ornamental garden and kitchen garden. The garden will be available from the start of 2019.
