Looks like an interesting site. Thanks for letting me in. I have a small 26 acre farm in Central Alberta, Canada. I have raised pigs, rabbits, sheep, vegetables for market and various poultry. I have settled in to the poultry and sheep. I am getting close to retirement so I am working out my after retirement lifestyle and supplemental income. The Farmstead lifestyle appeals to me because of the quality of food and maintaining my health, the exercise, fresh air and joy of raising animals well and with love.
I look forward to reading and following others stories.
Ta Ta for now.

Hello  and welcome to TAS forum.

Hello and welcome  I'm looking forward to learning more from you about homesteading in Canada, your animals and challenges. For example you have very different wildlife in Canada to that we have here - do you have problems ever? Here in the UK our biggest problem is losing sheep to roaming domestic dogs which think they are wolves, with owners who don't see a problem with their antics.

"Ta Ta for now" - That sounds interesting, but not very Canadian :) . Isn't that 1940's Britain and ITMA?
